GOG GALAXY IMPORT FOLDER INSTALL
Browse to your GOG Galaxy install location and point it at Galax圜lient.exe. Right click on your desktop, go to new, and select shortcut. Step 4: Create a new shortcut on the desktop Go one folder up and highlight the folder name. The folder name is the game code used by GOG, which you will need. This will take you to the folder with the game images.
Once you do, right click and select Open File Location. Scroll through until you find the game you want. A small tip is that all the games I know have 3 by default, so they should come up in groups of 3. If you set the view mode to icons, you'll get to see all the games detected by GOG on that launcher. This will locate ALL the files with that extension, the same extension that GOG uses for the images. Find the launcher that has the game you want and open that folder. Inside this folder should be the names of different launchers, such as Steam and Origin. By default it isĪnd then the folder in there with a bunch of numbers. To create a game shortcut, you will need to know where that folder is. I've been having serious problems creating shortcuts to run games from GOG Galaxy, so after a little research and work I decided to create my own guide for others like me.
